Angry Drifter sets fire to Marshall’s Office
(by Emily Darrow)
A drifter by the name of Shaun Courier set fire to the Marshells office wanting to “destroy anything upholding the law” A good hearted Drifter seeing the goings on grabbed a bucket to put the fires out before they did any damage. Just then Kid Diamond passes by and see the commontion. Kid Diamond after trying to explain to the drifter the building only upholds the roof warned the drifer that he was in a heap of trouble. The drifer not caring what was in store for him kept putting flame to the building so with one more warning the Kid calls “Draw: and as the drifter turned towards the Kid he got a belly full of lead. That was the end of “Got a burning desire to lay down dead”.

Sigil Town Hall Meeting
(by Jeff Beckenbauer and Maria Duke)
Sigil had it’s first town hall meeting presided by our Mayor Phara Akula on Nov. 16th. Many citizens attended to hear topics discussed such as gunfighting and the addition of a new sim.
[17:29] Phara Akula: ….So Welcome to The first town meeting…anyone here who knew me as the Pashas daugher in the past know how th eformat works ……so let me explain…….ill raise some issues to begin with ..and explain whats going on in Sigil…..and then invite comment per issue…any comments please raise your hand when prompted and ill ask you to speak….at the end of my ..piece ill pass over around the room and invite anyone to raise an issue in turn the meeeting is OOC in that you can speak normally or we be here 20 mins working out what your saying based on 1870 technology
[17:32] Phara Akula: ..Ok so ill start off ..thank you for those attending our open day on 11/11 it was a huge success and alot of fun…..after the meeting ill be posting a time for the weekend rolelay event we had to push one event back last week ..i enoucrage anyone to come along to see the format of such events and im sure many have been dieing to use the system for guns here in anger
…in that id like to explain the rules slightly and there has been one amenedment to the combat rules let me dig it up..2.6 Sigil is not a pure combat SIM. Shooting people without proper roleplay reasoning is not appropriate here and will be considered griefing. ok thats in addition to the other combat rules ..so why add that.. first griefer issues we had this week have been random people turning up ….buying one cheap gun and wandering about shooting people ..as i banned them for such incidents they aruge that.. ….they are outlaws and wouldnt it be ok to ‘Roleplay’ a homicial manaic .well the answer is no.. …and though it may be techincally possible to be a murdering manaic in 1870 …. ..im not interested in watching a flood of day old griefers coming here playing that role everyday if you wish to go to a pure combat sim and play soldier games it wont be here the western films i based this sim on did not have killings without some form of roleplay interaction and reasoning to it
*continued*
[18:15] Phara Akula: ….Sigil will likely expand to a second SIm.. : ….and an indian grounds is the priority in that sim …the idea at present on the drawing board is to place the sim relative north to Sigil.. …..now on the expansion front…..let me explain how sigil is funded …associate build..scripting…combat system costs were all down to me so far .ye si had to pay gerami to script my idea at first and he even got all sales as part of agreement mostly becaus enoone believed the place would work out
….Rahn is the only other rent payer here …..i cover 2/3 of current tier costs and he the other 1/3 …the sim is rented ..in that.. …as i have run a sim in the past..were i to move on or otherwise or Rahn
*continued*
To read the rest of the script…. (Sigil Town Hall meeting 11/16)

(by Whitney Clymer and Jeff Beckenbauer)
Miss Alexia Hailey was working behind the counter Nov 15th when a robber attempted to rob the back safe. No money was taken but several witnesses were injured; among those were Bobby Troughton, WIlliam Urbanowicz, Nikki Robbins, Grim Rainbow, Whitney Clymer, and Jeff Beckenbauer.
“Alexia Hailey: i only have it (money/safe) cause he was foolish enough to ring my bell and ask for service like he was a customer. i told him there wasnt any money in the safe so he went away
Nikki Robbins: but he shot quite a few people on the way out
Nikki Robbins: ironicly it was the undertaker
Mr. Bobby Troughton was shot in the leg and crawled to the Dr.’s office where he was tended to, given a wheelchair, and recovered quickly.
